StyleMatchMe is an AI matching service that helps people find a hair stylist or barber who actually fits them. Clients answer a short, free questionnaire about their hair type, the service they want, their budget, location and schedule, and StyleMatchMe ranks local stylists and barbers by how well they match, with the reasons shown for each. Stylists can't pay to rank higher: there are no ads, promoted listings or commissions. StyleMatchMe launched in beta in San Antonio in October 2026, and clients can search any US ZIP code.

For clients: free, no account needed. A 2-minute quiz returns up to 10 ranked matches, each with the reasons it fits.
How matching works: hair type counts the most, then services, distance, budget and years of experience, then schedule and personal preferences. Clients with coily hair, locs, or relaxed, transitioning or thinning hair can ask for a verified specialist.
No pay-to-rank: no ads, boosts or commissions. Every verified member pays the same flat price and is ranked only by fit.
For stylists and barbers: a 7-day free trial, then $8.99 a month for the first year ($12.99 after), or $97.09 for the first year paid annually. Members confirm their own services, prices, specialties and hours.
License checks: members can verify their Texas cosmetology or barber license against the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation's public records for a "Texas license verified" badge.
Coverage: more than 230 salons, barbershops and stylists listed in the San Antonio area, with live lookups for any other US ZIP code.
